Things. Episode 1 : Socks
"Things" is an intimate puppet spectacle that celebrates the vibrancy of mundane objects.
A Gorgons Tale
This original puppet spectacle tells the story of a mythical being who brings new growth and change to a world in ruin. Told through the tentacles of a misunderstood Gorgon, this theatrical journey celebrates the anti-hero and brings hope to a seemingly shadowy future.
Ghosts
A co-production of North Barn Theatre and Callamazo & Crew featuring the Fundy coast, North Barn’s puppets and Ghosts, a song by Callum Gaudet. This piece celebrates landscape’s past, future and present. Filmed in March 2023 at Two Islands, Nova Scotia.
Weather Pattern Atlantic
This ongoing project features installations that play with the abiotic and chaotic weather patterns that dictate how we live now and in the future.

Hänsel und Gretel in: der Garten von Edible Horrors: a terrible parable
North Barn Theatre joined Villain’s Theatre to present this award winning outdoor halloween spectacle, written by Dan Bray, in both Antigonish and Halifax, Nova Scotia in October 2021.
Troubling Joy
Troubling Joy is an original production that features a cast of more-than-human puppets who, in recognizing their discontent with the social structures that dictate how they live, discover the pleasure of change. It was toured by bicycle and performed for rural and urban audiences around Nova Scotia in August and September, 2021.
Late Night Radio
Experienced much like a drive-in cinema, Late Night Radio is a socially distant, live theatre performance where audiences tune in their car radios to an FM broadcast as a spectacle emerges in the landscape before them.
A Forecast Called for Rain
This puppet short was created by The North Barn Theatre in the Spring of 2020. It features an interrupted afternoon and an invitation to come outside.
Original composition and piano by Daniel McNamara.
Gathering
This crankie was created by The North Barn Theatre Collective in April 2020 in the aftermath of the mass shooting in Nova Scotia. Gathering was prohibited yet we felt the need to come together and hold each other. It was performed outdoors as an offering for individual households.
Composition: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Lacrimosa
